"So What Do You Do All Day When You Are RV Camping?"
Good question. The answer is that RV camping and hiking just go together. Whether you are retired, as my husband and I are, or on a limited summer vacation, each camping site is bound to be in range of some very interesting places to hike--to a mountaintop, along a beach, into a cave, to an Indian ruin, through a national park.
I will show you some of the exciting places we have been. Don’t worry if you don’t get around well. Some of our most rewarding hikes are very easy walks. Others will be quite a workout. Some extreme hikes we opted out of entirely and let our grandson tackle them.
I will cover a little about rv living as well--the camper, equipment and problems encountered.
And , of course, some preparation is needed for the hikes. A little physical conditioning is helpful, as well as the proper clothing and equipment for the outing.
